Asbury Park is one of the more unique neighborhoods in Louisville that provides a sense of kinship with your neighbors. Originally started in 1999, it is one of the communities of choice for newcomers to the area. It’s conveniently located in the East End of the city.
What’s It Like?
One word that would describe this neighborhood is cozy. Most of the homes are on fairly small lots that are easy to maintain. Norton Elementary School and Westport Middle School are both easily accessible to the community. Several private school options are also available. Kentucky Country Day School offers advanced placement programs, with an emphasis on fine arts and a field hockey team. Two schools that offer a unique approach to learning that allow students to advance easily are Louisville Classical Academy and Montessori School of Louisville. Saint Mary Academy provides a solid Catholic education.
